Lab126 develops innovative consumer-centric product solutions and as a Digital Operations Program Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and bring to market innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
The Role:
The Lab126 Operations group is looking for an individual who wants to work on a cool new product that is growing at a rapid pace. The Digital Operations group manages global logistics and customer service operations for the Kindle. We ensure successful fulfillment for product launches and ongoing support, grow the capabilities of Amazon’s current systems to meet our needs as a manufacturer, and drive continuous improvement for the customer and the company.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver results on complex projects involving teams across the company
- Work with stakeholders such as product management to define business requirements
- Understand current system capabilities and limitations
- Problem solve and explore solutions to current processes and systems
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to implementation
- Drive continuous improvement
- Monitor supply and fulfillment of devices
- We work with several teams within digital, across the company, and with third parties
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines ability to influence other teams to meet goals
- 5-7 years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, customer service or manufacturing for a hardware device company
- Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems
- Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, Access, Unix is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required. MBA Preferred.
