Lab126 is looking for a highly motivated software QA engineer with consumer application testing expertise to join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned SQA professionals. You'll work in a small-company environment, but have access to the resources of Amazon.com, one of the world's leading Internet companies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently execute test cases that target critical functional areas of our products
• Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
• Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.

Skills:

• Must be an innovative thinker with a strong desire to work on innovative consumer products.
• Demonstrate expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the agility to operate within short release cycles.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.

Experience:

• Two or more years of software QA testing experience on consumer products
• Experienced in black and grey box functional testing
• BS / BA degree, preferably in CS, CE, EE or equivalent
• Product experience with wireless consumer electronics preferred
• Experience with user level test automation tools a plus
• Domain expertise in electronic publishing a plus
