Lab126 develops innovative consumer-centric product solutions and as a Wireless Software Engineer you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and bring to market innovative consumer products. The Role:

Wireless is a core feature of our products. We have multiple openings for wireless firmware (FW) engineers to build a team responsible for integrating and improving the FW stacks for the wireless radios embedded in our devices, including but not limited to Wi-Fi and 3G.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be a senior and experienced software engineer with a background in wireless. You will have worked on one or more baseband / radio solutions for wireless devices. You will have a complete understanding of the communication stack from layer1 and drivers through protocol and framework. You will also have experience in one or more of the following fields: device-level integration, carrier certification requirements, test program development and production support for high volume manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years experience in wireless firmware development
• Proven competency in 3G wireless technology
• Hands-on experience in integration of wireless WAN software suite onto a Linux platform
• Hands-on experience in working with one or more 3G wireless chipset solutions and Linux-based devices
• Solid understanding of end-to-end SW development tool chains and environments
• C/C++ and embedded SW development expertise

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Masters’ Degree Preferred. This position will require some travel. This position will require international travel.
