Meet the Hardware Team

Meet the Software Team

We are looking for skilled, self-driven professionals ready to tackle a challenge. At Amazon Lab126, you will work with whip-smart colleagues in the Silicon Valley to develop devices that will impact millions of customers. Think big, take ownership of projects, and dream up evolving high-profile devices for one of the world's most innovative companies.

Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets are revolutionary consumer devices that have become best-selling Amazon products. For streaming media lovers, we have created Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick with voice search, massive video selection, and gaming. The first smartphone designed by Amazon, Fire phone, includes unique Dynamic Perspective and Firefly technology.

Our innovations outside of Kindle and Fire products include Amazon Echo, a new category of device designed around your voice with far-field voice recognition, and Amazon Dash, a handheld scanner to help you order groceries from Amazon Fresh.

Meet the Operations Team

We hope you will join our team and build on the Kindle family of products and future consumer electronic devices. Get involved in one of our affinity groups, like Bay Area Women @ Amazon, watch Air Force One landing through our office windows by Moffett Federal Airfield, and enjoy the beautiful Bay Area.

We hire chiefly in technical roles; for example, we look for software engineers to work on applications for Fire OS, hardware engineers to create slim and elegant devices, quality assurance engineers to ensure reliable customer experiences, and big thinkers to transition concepts for ideas like Amazon Echo into reality. Our operations team delivers these devices to customers on a massive, global scale. We value ownership, calculated risk-taking, and tolerance for ambiguity as we improve existing products and build future devices.
